Vinci: Leonardo’s birthplace

Vinci, Leonardo’s birthplace, and the Medici Villa in Cerreto Guidi

Escorted guided tour – 6 hours

Who doesn’t know Leonardo, one of the greatest artists of all time, known throughout the world for its extraordinary genius? He was born in Vinci, a lovely village located on top of a hill surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.

Nearby, in Cerreto Guidi, the Medici family, that ruled Florence for over three hundred years, owned a villa where they could spend their time resting or going hunting (their favourite sport!).

Your private guide and driver will lead you to Vinci on a comfortable minivan for a visit of Leonardo’s house and the Museo Leonardiano, where his most original inventions are displayed.

After lunch, you will drive to Cerreto Guidi for a visit of the Medici Villa, which houses beautiful artworks from the Bardini collection in Florence.

This tour is also a great opportunity to enjoy the stunning Tuscan countryside.
